Moving to a Lefty fork forced me to change my rack, I could have used an adapter for the lefty, but that doesn’t lock the bike.
This mount locks the bike to the rack by clamping down on the Crank Arm. This is great for weird frame sizes and shapes. Further more it doesn’t touch the frame and scratch the paint like other mounts do. This mount allows you to reach the trailhead and pull your bike off the rack and ride. The bike does tend to move a bit when driving off road, which brings up the question of pressure on the bottom bracket: Yakima claims that there is no more pressure the when pedaling. I am pleased with this purchase, but still think a Fork mount is far better if you can get away with it
